Our teachers are taking a well-deserved break for the summer, so the next meeting will be on Sunday 5 September.

MOTHERS’ UNION

Members are reminded of their monthly Corporate Communion which for September is this coming Wednesday, 7.30pm at Holy Trinity.  The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for veneration from 7pm

PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL

Owing to the Oberammergau pilgrimage, the PCC will meet a week earlier than usual at 8.15pm in Trinity Hall on Wednesday 8 September.

ALPHA – ALL GREEK TO YOU?

Our team is now complete.  Now we need to know who’s interested in joining the groups.  The ‘taster’ evening (to find out if Alpha is for you) is on Sunday 26 September at All Saints’ Church, Chapel Lane at 7.30pm with the regular meetings starting a week after on 3 October.  Please sign and return the forms available at both churches, call 01276 517672 or email alpha@hawleygreen.org.uk so we can cater for you where the meal is concerned.

CHRISTCHURCH PRIORY
25 September

Our Forward in Faith friends in Portsmouth and Winchester have arranged an afternoon at Christchurch Priory.  Bishop Keith will preside at the mass at 11.30am and we can spend time afterwards looking round the church and its environs.  If you’d like to be part of the crowd, please write your name on the sheet in the porch.

CELEBRATIONS

Thank you to Don and Anne Leppard for their hospitality at Holy Trinity last week.  Today, Peter and Sallie Cooper have something to celebrate.  Please join them for a drink after the 11am mass today.

CONCERT AT HOLY TRINITY – 2 October

HAMS have arranged for our old friends, the Hart Male Voice Choir, to come to Holy Trinity once more to entertain

us in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.  Please keep the date free in your diaries.  Tickets will be available soon
